01 / YOUR INFORMATION
The information we collect
Effective date: 1 November 2026.
ClayoCraft (“ClayoCraft”, “we”, “our” or “us”) provides business consulting, AI and business efficiency, revenue and lead growth, operations and business systems, and fractional business support. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit clayocraft.com, contact us, request a free efficiency review, book a meeting, subscribe to our Insights newsletter or engage with our services.
For personal information collected through our website and our own business communications, ClayoCraft determines why and how the information is used. Where we handle data on a client’s behalf under an agreement, the client may be responsible for that information and its own privacy practices will also apply.
Information you provide
- Enquiries and consultation forms: your first and last name, business email, phone number, company name, website, selected business challenges and any message you submit.
- Meetings and service enquiries: appointment details, communication preferences, proposals and correspondence.
- Business relationships: relevant contact, billing, transaction and service-delivery records.
- Newsletter requests: email address and subscription or communication preferences.
Technical and usage information
When you use the website, we and our technology providers may receive IP addresses, browser and device details, referring pages, approximate location inferred from IP addresses, website usage information, cookies or similar identifiers, and security and diagnostic logs. The exact information depends on the services enabled and your browser or consent settings.
Information from other sources
Where permitted by applicable law, professional contact information may also come from referrals, introductions, business partners, publicly available company websites or professional directories. Please do not send sensitive information, passwords or payment-card details through an ordinary website contact form.
02 / PURPOSE & USE
How your information is used
We use personal information for the following business purposes:
- Answering your questions, evaluating enquiries and arranging consultations or business efficiency reviews.
- Preparing proposals, providing ClayoCraft services and communicating with customers and project contacts.
- Administering appointments, support requests, invoices, payments and business records.
- Sharing subscribed Insights updates and other relevant business communications in accordance with applicable marketing laws.
- Maintaining website functionality, analysing traffic and performance, improving our services and investigating misuse.
- Meeting legal, tax, accounting, security and contractual requirements, and addressing disputes.
Legal grounds where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies
Depending on the purpose, we may process information to take steps at your request before a contract or to perform a contract; for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the website, responding to business enquiries and maintaining professional relationships; to comply with legal obligations; or with your consent where required, such as for certain marketing messages or non-essential tracking technologies. When relying on legitimate interests, we consider the impact on the individual and their rights.
Marketing and unsubscribing
We may communicate with business contacts about relevant services only where permitted by the rules that apply to those communications. You can opt out of promotional emails using an unsubscribe link, when one is included, or by emailing info@clayocraft.com. We may retain a limited suppression record so that we continue to respect your choice. A promotional opt-out does not prevent necessary communications about an enquiry or active service.
Automation
We may use software and automated workflows to organise requests, track tasks and measure website usage. Our normal enquiry process is not intended to make solely automated decisions about individuals that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Where the law requires additional information about any such processing, we will provide it.
03 / PRIVACY PRACTICES
How we share and safeguard information
Who may receive information
Relevant information may be accessible to authorised ClayoCraft personnel and to service providers supporting website hosting, forms, email delivery, customer communications, analytics, scheduling, payments, IT security, accounting and professional advice. We may share information where required by law or to protect legal rights, and in the context of a legitimate business transaction subject to applicable requirements. We do not publish private enquiry messages as part of our ordinary business operations.
Cookies and analytics
The website may use cookies and similar technologies for core functions, security and measuring website or campaign performance, including technologies operated by third parties. Your browser can usually block or delete cookies, although some features may then work differently. Applicable laws may require prior consent for certain non-essential cookies or trackers; such use must follow the consent requirements relevant to the visitor. For details about currently configured technologies, please contact us.
International data transfers
ClayoCraft works with businesses in different countries and may use service providers or personnel located outside the country in which information was collected. Where a cross-border transfer requires a particular legal safeguard, we will address the applicable transfer requirements. You may request further information about how a transfer affecting you is handled.
How long data is kept
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes explained here, taking account of the length of a business relationship, whether an enquiry is still active, relevant tax or accounting obligations, security needs and potential legal claims. Marketing records may be kept until you opt out or another applicable limit is reached; a minimal suppression record may be retained to prevent unwanted further marketing. Different categories of records can have different retention periods.
Protecting your information
We use proportionate organisational and technical security measures intended to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No website or electronic communication is completely secure. Please use an appropriate secure method if a project requires transferring sensitive or confidential data.
Other websites and services
Links to third-party sites, scheduling applications, payment tools or social platforms may take you to services that follow their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information directly to them.
04 / RIGHTS & REQUESTS
Your choices and privacy rights
Your privacy choices
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access personal information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict certain processing, receive portable data, or object to processing, particularly direct marketing. Where our processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw that consent. These rights may be subject to exceptions, such as records that must be retained to meet legal obligations. Other local privacy laws, including some US state laws, may provide additional rights.
How to make a request
For access, correction, deletion, a marketing opt-out, or a question about our handling of personal information, email info@clayocraft.com with Privacy Request in the subject line. Please describe your request and the contact details or relationship involved so we can find the relevant information. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We will respond according to the deadlines and obligations required by applicable law.
Complaints
Please contact ClayoCraft first if you have concerns so we can review them. If the UK GDPR applies, you may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. If the EU GDPR applies, you may complain to a competent data protection supervisory authority in the EU or EEA. Other privacy regulators may be available under your local law.
Children
ClayoCraft’s site and services are directed at businesses, not children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please let us know so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, technologies and applicable legal requirements develop. We will change the effective date when the policy is updated and provide other notice if required by law.
